Julie’s experience and expertise in her transactional law practice focuses on estate and business planning and probate. As Julie’s clients include individuals who are business owners and ag producers, she has experience in the areas of employment law, real estate transactions, and state and federal tax matters.
Julie’s practice focuses on estate planning, business succession, probate and related tax and business matters. Julie began her career in corporate operations and served as legal counsel for statewide organizations, including the Nebraska Cattlemen. With her past practical business experience, and having served as counsel to the Nebraska Cattlemen, the premier livestock association in Nebraska, Julie works with individual clients, as well as with many entrepreneurs and start-ups in the technology sector, small business owners, livestock producers and farmers.
Julie is active in the bar associations of both Colorado and Nebraska, involved with drafting legislation related to wills, trusts, probate, and business entities. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University and has authored numerous articles for organizational and association publications on current business and tax issues. With Julie’s ability to practice law in both Colorado and Nebraska, Karavas & Kranz, P.C. attorneys are able to provide legal services throughout the states of Colorado and Nebraska.
