Our Process
-
Initial Consultation
Whether you were referred to the firm by a family member, friend, another attorney, or found us otherwise, we pride ourselves in providing a thorough and thoughtful initial consultation. Consultations are available in person at our Boulder location. Some initial consultations can be scheduled over the telephone. In today’s technological world, most documents can be transmitted prior to the initial consultation for a more informative and thorough exploration of the services we may provide.
-
Engagement
Should you decide to engage the firm to represent your interests, you will be required to execute a fee agreement for your first matter of representation. The fee agreement will provide for the scope of representation. It will set forth the rates of compensation to the firm, the amount of the retainer, and other information as needed.
-
Familiarization
Upon engagement, our attorneys will familiarize themselves with the facts of your matter. Whether you engage the firm for a transactional matter or litigation, a factual knowledge of your matter is imperative. The extent of our involvement will have already been discussed during the engagement phase, but the gathering of information and/or research is critical.
-
Resolution
We place paramount importance on reaching a satisfactory result in a client’s matter. Whether it be planning an estate, acquiring real estate, or settling major litigation, resolution is always the ultimate goal. The attorneys at Karavas & Kranz, P.C. work hard to achieve the best result possible for the client. A happy and satisfied client leaves the attorneys and staff at our firm feeling the same way.
